The Stored Material section manages stores, items stored and stored material usage for a pay item.

The Stored Materials section is divided into two parts.

    • Stores – This area has information about the stored material.
    • Usage – This area lets the user mark the stored material usage.

The lifecycle of stored material is as follows

  1. A store is created for the pay item for which material is to be stored.
  2. The store has information such as quantity, unit, unit price of the material, date the material is stored, and is linked to pay item.
  3. The pay item when used after stored date is listed in the Usage tab of the Stored Materials section.
  4. The Stored Material Manager then can mark the usage.

    • User has ADMIN privilege
    • User has STORED_MATERIAL_MANAGER privilege
    • User has one of the active project roles defined in the configuration variable STOMAT_MANAGER_ROLE_LIST (Default: PA,RE – Auditor, Resident Engineer)

Note: If you do not want the project auditor or RE to create material stores, this right can be overridden by setting the STOMAT_MANAGER_ROLE_LIST configuration variable at the organization level.

A user has rights to USE stored material if one (or more) of the following are true: (In practice, this is limited to field personnel)
