CCMS provides the ability to manage a list of labor entries for a project. These are known as Project Labor records. The Project Labor information collected and managed depends on the data entry mode:
- Basic Mode: The Project Labor records identify the various labor types used on the project
- Detailed Mode: The Project Labor records identify individual project labors by contractor, labor type and name
When documenting the crew labor within an IDR or FAR the inspector generates an IDR labor record. This IDR Labor record points to the appropriate Project Labor record and includes the specific hours worked by the labor type group (Basic Mode) or laborer (Detailed Mode).
Using the example above, the following diagram illustrates the relationship between Project Labor and IDR Labor records for the Basic Mode:
