CCMS provides the ability to manage a list of equipment entries for a project. These are known as Project Equipment records. The Project Labor information collected and managed depends on the data entry mode:
- Basic Mode: The Project Equipment records identify the various Equipment types used on the project
- Detailed Mode: The Project Equipment records identify individual pieces of equipment by contractor, equipment type, make, model, year and unique external ID
When documenting the crew equipment within an IDR or FAR the inspector generates an IDR labor record. This IDR Labor record points to the appropriate Project Labor record and includes the specific hours worked by the labor type group (Basic Mode) or laborer (Detailed Mode).
Using the example above, the following diagram illustrates the relationship between Project Equipment and IDR Equipment records for the Basic Mode:
