Zero or more equipment records can be added for each IDR crew. If a crew has no equipment, the user must check the No Equipment box in the IDR Crew Editor.
Like labor, CCMS has two different equipment user interfaces available to capture equipment:
- Basic Mode
- Detailed Mode
The main difference between Basic and Detailed is the level of detail required for each entry. Basic mode entries require the count, hours worked and hours idle for each equipment type. Detailed mode entries require information on each individual piece of equipment. To illustrate the difference, take the following equipment list for a work crew:
- 2008 CASE model 580M Backhoe ID #1532 – worked 8 hours
- 1995 Caterpillar 430E CPQ+ Backhoe ID#A104 – Worked 6 hours
- 1993 Ford L9000 Dump Truck License K 29532 – Worked 8 hours
For Basic Mode, the following two equipment entries would be required:
